The Event:

VIP Access Pass Ticket- $125 - includes Friday, March 22, 2024, VIP event, plus show admission on Saturday, March 23, 2024 (limited quantity, must be purchased in advance no later than March 15, 2024)

 

Friday evening begins with an exclusive VIP Ticketed event and kick-off cocktail reception from 5:30-7, featuring hors d'oeuvres by Harbour Restaurant of Lewes, and for those 21 and over, complimentary beverages by Beach Time Distilling and Dewey Beer Company. Immediately following the cocktail hour the pre-show event will begin with an opportunity to meet the vendors and preview gear from 7-9.

Early Bird General Admission - $25 Early show entry (limited quantity, online purchase only) 

Advance Purchase General Admission  - $10 Online only through March 21, 2024

At The Door General Admission - $20 CASH ONLY 

There will also be a Cash Only 50/50 raffle to benefit Frantic Music Project.

 

Only approved Vendors and VIP ticket holders are allowed to enter on Friday, March 22, 2024.

Children over 12 years of age may attend but must be with a parent or guardian over 18 years of age at all times. Attendees must be respectful of vendors and merchandise. 

 

About:

Frantic Music Project, Inc., a 501(c)(3) charitable organization, in cooperation with Frantic Frets Music Store of Milton, Delaware presents the Mid Atlantic Guitar Show & Swap Meet. The event will be held at the Rehoboth Beach Convention Center, 229 Rehoboth Avenue, Rehoboth Beach, Delaware on March 22 & 23, 2024. 

 

This event is a fundraiser for Frantic Music Project, the organization that is just getting started has hosted numerous programs for musicians who are just getting started, or who are just getting back to performing regardless of age. Frantic Music Project also provides subsidized services and equipment to career musicians who reside in Delaware. Performing live music must be their main source of income to qualify. 

 

Frantic Frets Music & Antiques of Milton, owners Al and Mary “Frantic” (Knight), created Frantic Music Project in 2022, as a way to give back to the community that supported them through the COVID pandemic. They opened the shop in 2018 and specialize in gently used and vintage instruments, amplifiers, and offer repair services, luthier work, and modification services.

 

The Frantics have a large and loyal customer (friend) base and numerous connections in the music industry. Mary has a very diverse background in business, marketing, nonprofit management, and event planning. Together with a dedicated committee, the event will be marketed well in key locations and media outlets. In her roles, she has created and developed numerous events from intimate performances to gala dinners for 300 people, to festivals (both in-person and virtually) with thousands of attendees. Frantic Music Project has a team of very dedicated board members and volunteers who have worked on other various large events and can ensure a seamless event for vendors and attendees.

 

 

Audience:

To the organizer's knowledge, this is currently the only guitar show of this size in the State of Delaware, and with its proximity to the Metropolitan areas of New York City, Philadelphia, and Washington, DC, is expected to be a very well-attended inaugural event. 

 

This event will draw guitar enthusiasts including collectors, players, and those who are considering or just beginning to play.

With an expected attendance of 150+ attendees, the targeted audience are the casual player, professional players, and serious collectors.. Limited Tickets are available.

Food and beverages will be available for purchase. Anticipated attendance of 150-200 guitar enthusiasts. All deals must be made in the Convention Center during show hours.

Vendors:

We expect to have 25+ vendors selling vintage, used, and new guitars, amplifiers, stomp boxes, and other guitar-related items. There will also be boutique-style vendors with jewelry and other music-related items.

 

Vendor spaces are $100 per 6’ table with 2 chairs and 2- 2-day show-only event passes. 

 

Premium Vendor spaces are $500 and include the above plus One VIP Meet & Greet Cocktail Reception Ticket is included per vendor. 

 

Additional Vendor Meet & Greet tickets may be purchased separately.

 

Vendors are responsible for all table coverings and displays must not encroach aisles or other vendor tables. Vendor load-in will be at noon on Friday, March 22, 2024, and all vendors must be set up by 4 PM. Wi-fi and electricity will be available. 

 

Vendors should be at their table and ready for business at 6:30 PM sharp on Friday, March 22, 2024 and 9:30 AM Sharp on Saturday, March 23, 2024. 

 

Vendors are required to answer questions regarding their products and will be required to provide pictures of their typical booth space setup and obtain an Exhibitor’s License directly from the City of Rehoboth Beach. Information will be sent to confirmed vendors. 

 

To maximize your business’s advertising exposure you must register, no later than January 31, 2024. Spaces are limited and will be approved on a first-come, first-served basis.

 

Paying for a space does not guarantee entry, if your business is not selected, you will receive a full refund.

 

Advertising Opportunities:

Advertising opportunities are available to all types of businesses who would like to reach a new audience. With many attendees coming from the surrounding areas and beyond, this is a perfect opportunity to get your name out in front of them. 

 

Promotion:

As a nonprofit, Frantic Music qualifies for a monthly advertising grant from Google to use for Google Ads and will be targeted geographically and demographically. Sponsors and vendors will be listed on the event website: Mid Atlantic Guitar Show & Swap Meet, as well as Facebook, print media, television, and radio spots. In addition to the Google online promotion, paid advertisements will be done in the Cape Gazette, and through Facebook ads. Online ads will target internet searches based on “guitar”, ie. guitarist, etc. as well as the target East Coast areas mentioned above. Flyers promoting the event will be distributed to local businesses and sponsors.

 

Community Partners:

Our Community Partners for the event already include Harbour Restaurant, Beach Time Distilling, and Dewey Beer Company, i.g. Burton Auto Group, Chardon Jewelers LTD, and Debbi Balick Holistic Coach. Sponsorship opportunities are available, the cut off is January 15, 2024. 

 

Economic Impact:

Many attendees traveling from outside the area will be seeking hotel accommodations and dining options in the Rehoboth Beach area – generating more tourist dollars for local businesses. An expected crowd of 200+ attendees and vendors will be seeking accommodations and dining options in the area during the off-season.
