Frantic Music Open Mic Program

Oct Open Mic Sunday 2023 4PM.jpg

October 15th, Open Mic Program at The Brimming Horn Meadery in Milton.

No outside food or beverages, please.

Brimming Horn serves a great selection of varietal mead and soft drinks, and their food truck Hammer and Horns has a great selection of tasty food. The event is outdoors under their big tent. Read on for more details.

As part of its mission, Frantic Music Project hosts a number of Open Mic Programs throughout the year. The open mic welcomes all ages and is a perfect opportunity for new musicians, singer/songwriters, or seasoned musicians to perform in front of a live audience. Come out and try out a new song for feedback. It is also a great way to meet fellow musicians for possible further collaboration and to learn and further develop your skills. There are educational sessions, and we are always happy to answer any questions you may have. Open mics are family friendly and we welcome musicians of all ages.

Open Mic Programs are held on specific Sundays (dates will be posted on this site) from 4-7 PM.
Frantic Frets sponsors the PA, backline, community guitar, bass, and a small drum kit for those who may not have an instrument with them but would like to perform.  We have a dedicated sound crew.

Frantic Music Community Partners include Morris James LLP i.g. Burton, Chardon Jewelers, Debbie Balick Holistic Coach, and The Brimming Horn Meadery. Thank you sponsors for your support of live music!

Signups are done on-site, beginning 15 minutes before the show. We welcome solo, duo, and small groups. Musicians will typically be given up to 10 minutes or 2 songs. If time allows, we will invite anyone interested back after everyone has had a chance to perform - possibly even a jam. Musicians are encouraged to support other musicians by staying and listening to the other performers.

We love an audience! So do the musicians! Even if you don't play, come out to support and enjoy the talents of some of our local artists.

The event is free to attend - we do ask that you please support the venue with your purchases of food and beverages. While it is not necessary, donations for Frantic Music Project are greatly appreciated. You can also donate online, by Venmo @franticmusic or PayPal @franticmusic, or in person at the event.
