VANILLA FUDGE - Live in Concert at the Rehoboth Beach Convention Center!
Featuring ORIGINAL MEMBERS Carmine Appice, Vince Martell, and Mark Stein, with bassist Pete Bremy. Vanilla Fudge, has had a number of chart hits, and perhaps best known for their cover version of "Keep Me Hangin' On." Their unique style of “psychedelic symphonic rock” combining psychedelia and hard rock, would later pave the way to other music genres like heavy metal. One of the first bands to create this eclectic sound that was most often heard on the East Coast, mainly in New York and New Jersey.
In 1958 they performed on the Ed Sullivan show and released their second album.
Vanilla Fudge has headlined with Steve Miller, toured with Jimi Hendrix, headlined or were equal billed with Cream, Janis Joplin, and Jefferson Airplane. Late in 1968, the new kids-on-the-block Led Zeppelin, opened for Vanilla Fudge. They have appeared…
